It’s hard work reuniting two kingdoms. Especially when you’re only 10.

When Stella Sunter begins working at Zellund Castle, she thinks it’s going to just be a fun time, running around the palace and meeting royalty.

It turns out to be very challenging — at first, she struggles just to find her way around, delivering food and messages (and, at one point, the king’s underthings).

But when King Garrett asks her to deliver a crucial letter to the Kingdom of Glendenhall, Stella discovers how big the world really is… and how a small girl like her could make a huge impact.

Magic is a dying thing: if you’re caught with magic, you’ll probably die.

The Kemmeron family just wanted to put their past behind them. They moved to a farm outside a remote village, where Brandt serves as a blacksmith and Lorelle tries to keep up with lively Quinn and creative Ellisa.

But they have a secret–many, in fact. When soldiers come around asking some tough questions, they don’t like what they find. What ensues leaves the family scattered.

Unburnt is the beginning of a tale like no other: a grand, tumultuous saga, yet also the intimate story of how far a family will go to stay together.

“He jumped in the air, ready to bring his spear down on his enemies. Except he didn’t…”

Everett Starner is a nobody. He doesn’t play sports. He’s not smart enough to stand out in school. He’s barely worth bullying. He’s not really good at anything except video games, which would be fine … if they didn’t randomly trigger his epilepsy.

That is, until The Interface: the newest gaming accessory that puts the game in your mind. When he plays Realms of Glory, he doesn’t watch Everstarr level up and score loot, he is Everstarr. He becomes the somebody he can never be in real life.

It’s fun at first — his clan rises in the ranks and catches the attention of some powerful rivals. But during an epic battle, everything gets real. Too real. Players suddenly vanish. Kills do not respawn. Everett ends up trapped in the game with just a few friends … and who knows how many enemies. He doesn’t know how they got locked in, but he knows they all need to get out soon.

Everett finally has a chance to be somebody in real life. He just needs to get back out there before it’s too late.

“Don’t you hate it when you try to kill a guy and he just doesn’t die?”

Everett Starner, known in-game as Everstarr, permanently eliminated his rival Jake da Rippa from the VR sensation, Realms of Glory. Everstarr’s victory saved his friends from being trapped in the game forever. He ended up with the top rank in the leading clan, The Lordz. He even got a girlfriend. He was king of the virtual world.

A few months later, Everstarr gets an invite to a challenge in the new pirate-themed Realms o’ Plunder. It’s a single-elimination death match where the winner gets first dibs on everything, and the losers might never play the game again. Oh, and the invite was from Jake.

Why would he accept? How could he say “No”?

Sometimes being the best leads to the worst…

Starting high school is never easy. A new, unfamiliar building. Rude upperclassmen. Demanding teachers. Add to that the endless drama at home, and no place seems safe.

Luckily, Everett Starner can escape his real-life troubles with his favorite video game. As his pirate alter ego Everstarr, he can sail around his tropical Realm and explore its mysterious islands.

But when he finds out his entire Realm must go to war, Everett is now responsible for leading everyone into battle. He just has to team up with a few new friends… and some of his oldest enemies. What could possibly go wrong?

“Give me other mothers, and I’ll give you another world…”
