The Really Really Late September Report

It’s probably a bad sign when I do my end of the month report 23 days late AND I don’t want to show my numbers for writing, huh?

OK, I’ll man up and share…

Wait, wait! I can explain…

See, I haven’t been logging my writing lately, but I have been writing. Somewhat. A little bit. Here and there. Buuuuut not really much more than the numbers indicate.

I have a good reason, though (at least, that’s what I tell myself). I’ve been marketing my writing a LOT this past month. So I think it’s only fair to share another set of data:

I don’t know if it’s correlation or causation yet, but prior to August, all the numbers above were flatlining. So I like to think the time I’m spending creating TikToks and growing an audience is doing something positive for my earnings.

That said, I *do* (really, I do!) want to write more. I still have Unburnt (ironically on the back burner). I still post “episodes” on Vella (which has quickly become my main source of writing income). I try to post here when I get a minute (I know, I know…). And I kinda have that full-time teacher thing happening, so that’s what’s going on with me.

I’m not going to set any new goals at the moment, but hopefully I’ll be back for a November check-in (like a week from now?!) with a clearer vision for the future. See you then! 😁
